The Volunteer Expo, held at Randwick Town Hall on Saturday June 23 2018, will open up a world of possibilities for those looking for ways to give back to the community, Randwick Mayor Lindsay Shurey announced today.
“Volunteers have a profound effect on our community,” said Mayor Shurey. “The act of volunteering can change a person’s day or even their life, but so often people don’t know how to take that first step and get involved in a volunteering activity.

“There will be representatives from emergency services, charities, social services, sporting activities and many more who can answer questions, provide guidance and get people inspired to participate. It’ll be a worthwhile event.”
The free event will include stalls that will provide information about how people can get involved with particular groups and will cover topics such as working with:
Residents are encouraged to drop in to Randwick Town Hall any time between 11am and 2pm on Saturday 23 June. Entry is free and tea and coffee will be provided.
